Bogotá. At 1:50 on Monday afternoon, the Airbus 400, the largest and most modern strategic and tactical transport aircraft of the European company, landed for the first time in Colombia and it is on a promotional tour by Latin America.

They arrived in Bogota after seven hours of direct flight from Santiago de Chile, where they were participating in the International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE. During the technical exhibition, the manufacturing company named the most important characteristics of the aircraft including its capacity of 37 tons or 116 paratroopers. The Airbus Company thanked Colombia and the Air Force for this reception, since it was possible to show through CATAM this powerful aircraft with 4 turbo jet engines, each with 11 thousand horsepower, which positions it as the transport aircraft of the XXI century.
