The permanent work on the roads has led soldiers of the Ninth Brigade and police units of the department of Huila to counter the transit of narcotics on roads in the Opita territory. The most recent operations to hit criminal groups were possible with the finding of 145 kilos of Creepy marijuana and the arrest of a man and a woman.
The operation is reported in the sector of the village La Pringamoza, in the municipality of Nátaga, Huila. The search on a private vehicle by soldiers of the Battalion Pigoanza and members of the Police, led to the finding in the rear seats and in the trunk of 28 packages (145 kilos) wrapped in black plastic.
A couple were arrested in flagrante delicto and, together with the illicit substance and the vehicle, were brought before the authorities as part of the legal proceedings for trafficking, manufacture and carrying of narcotic drugs.
The substance that would have been acquired in the department of Cauca at a cost of 147 million pesos, would be destined for the municipality of Nátaga and from there it would be transferred to the interior of the country.
