The Colombian Navy dealt a heavy blow against the Organized Gang, GDO, Banda La Local, with the finding and capture of one of its members in the Special District of Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.
Units of the Navy Brigade No.2 in the course of a joint and coordinated operation with specialized troops of the National Army and the National Police, capture alias Maca for the crime of manufacture, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.
At the time of the capture, the military found a submachinegun, a pistol, 36 cartridges and 2 magazines.
According to naval intelligence information, alias Maca is accused of being the third ringleader of Los Shiotas substructure of that group, where he was in charge of committing the targeted murders in the port city.
The individual captured along with the material found was put into custody of to the authorities.
