In order to contribute to the fulfillment of the mission of defending the sovereignty of the national territory by the air, the Colombian Air Force through the Air Combat Command No.4, CACOM 4, has sent its helicopters throughout the departments of Tolima, Huila and part of Cundinamarca within the framework of Plan Democracia.
Taking into account the upcoming elections in the country, the Colombian Air Force has carried out constant air patrols protecting citizens, the road and critical infrastructure in this region, carrying out reconnaissance and surveillance missions along the main roads to provide tranquility and security to civilians.
The aircraft have flown day and night missions to reinforce security operations on the road infrastructure that connects the center with the north and west of the country.
